Our X2 Elite Network member Element International Forwarding & Logistics Ltd. has pulled off an amazing project by moving 2 steam boilers and burners from Malatya, Turkey to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The total weight of each of the 2 units was 32,000 kilos and the measurements were 10.7m x 3.2m x 3.8m and were loaded on lowbed trailers.
The total mileage covered was a breathtaking 4500 km taking a total of 35 days.
The shipment was delayed at Elazig because of the tragic earthquake occurrence and heavy snow with a severe temperature of minus 10 Celcius.
There were some documentary and customs problems faced which were handled effectively by the Element Mercin office.
This was really an impressive project which had to be carefully planned in order to have a trouble-free journey door to door.
There is no doubt that the Element team achieved this objective with flying colours.
We congratulate the team on succeeding in this project which was a real challenge but effectively completed.
